Down the Rabbit Hole

With this specific piece of work, I truly feel that I'm falling down the rabbit's hole! The different colors of the spirals really pull you in and the spotting of light makes you really feel as if you're warping through some magical tunnel! (Sadly, I also think of Dr. Who when I see things like this. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a…" width="19" height="19" alt="" title="Sweating a little..."/> )
I love the additions to the background and the 'darker brush strokes'. The spirals have an almost glassy look to them that really catches the eye's atetntion. Everything about this piece makes you truly believe that you're falling through the rabbit's hole, especially the spirals in the background that are lighter, and less obvious in the picture. Such subtleties really give a wonderful impression to the picture. While the idea has been used before, your art never ceases to amaze and set a higher standard!
